Spunky LA designer Kelly Nishimoto swears she will never do Project Runway. "I am not a contest winner type of designer!" Combining fun plaids and beautiful silks in rich jewel colors topped with peacock feathers, Swarovski crystals, and over-sized cargo pockets make her clothes quirky and unique. Kelly best describes her Spring 08 collection as "Cat in the Hat on Acid in Paris." Now, that just sounds like fun.
This designer is SO refreshing. Her pieces are so feminine, yet spunky. I can't wait to buy the hot pink ruffled dress shown on the page. A great segment!
